Job summary

HRU Technical Resources in Warren, MI is seeking an LMS Operations & Data Analyst on a 12-month contract with potential conversion to permanent employment based on performance. The hybrid role focuses on leading learning operations, data governance, and reporting to support global learning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business Administration, or related field; an Associate degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning operations, LMS administration, training data analysis, reporting, or a closely related field.
  • Experience supporting LMS operations, data analysis, learning measurement, and project delivery.
  • Experience with Corporate Required Training, compliance tracking, audit readiness, documentation, or governance within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytics that support decision-making.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data/file merging, and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience managing projects involving learner, training, business, country, organizational-group, or system-integration data.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience developing standard work, job aids, best practices, and governance processes that improve learning operations.
  • Experience partnering with HR, Legal, business functions, shared services, IT, and learning stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting the full course lifecycle, including setup, testing, launch, maintenance, learner support, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify risks, determine root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, manage conflict, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, operational discipline, and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve learning operations that support global LMS effectiveness, compliance, and business readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex LMS issues involving learner access, training status, course content, reporting, system integrations, and data integrity.
  • Manage LMS support tickets and provide advanced Tier 2 support, including root-cause analysis, issue escalation, and timely resolution.
  • Support Corporate Required Training, including learner assignments, completion tracking, reporting, deficiency management, and governance.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, business functions, and other stakeholders to ensure learning programs meet compliance, documentation, and governance requirements.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for learning partners and stakeholders, helping align priorities, timelines, deliverables, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze learner, training, compliance, and integration data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical tools that support business decisions and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain data integrity across learner records, assignments, completions, learner groups, deficiency reports, and system integrations.
  • Support the learning technology roadmap by identifying operational impacts, integration requirements, system risks, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate course setup, testing, launch, maintenance, and reporting with instructional designers, subject-matter experts, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Support course administration for assigned business functions, including course creation, maintenance, learner support, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage ILM documentation and guide teams on appropriate file storage, retention, and governance practices.
  • Create and improve standard work, job aids, best practices, and governance processes for LMS administration and reporting.
  • Support audit readiness through documentation review, evidence collection, compliance follow-up, and validation of training records.
  • Help coordinate and schedule manufacturing training in partnership with the hiring manager, manufacturing learning leaders, and the broader learning team.
  • Deliver strong customer service, accountability, and collaboration across global business functions in support of service excellence.
