Job summary

AXG Contracting, a leading energy infrastructure organization, seeks an Instructional Design and LMS Specialist to support an enterprise learning initiative focused on LMS stabilization and compliance-training accuracy. The contractor will audit enrollment processes, redesign enrollment rules aligned to new job architecture, and validate changes across Absorb LMS with Oracle HCM integration.

Responsibilities include developing training standards, LMS governance practices, and quality-review

Qualifications

• Hands-on LMS administration in an enterprise setting.
• Experience managing enrollment rules, user groups, course assignments, and LMS reporting.
• Experience developing training standards, governance frameworks, and LMS procedures or learning-operations documentation.
• Understanding HRIS-to-LMS integrations and data impacts on enrollment logic.
• Experience supporting mandatory, compliance-driven, regulated or safety-sensitive training.
• Strong written communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and document existing enrollment rules in Absorb LMS.
• Identify enrollment rules affected by changes to job titles and codes.
• Map mandatory courses to enrollment methods and ensure compliance.
• Design updated enrollment-rule structure and test in LMS sandbox.
• Create an LMS administrator runbook and training materials.
• Provide knowledge-transfer sessions to Talent Development team.
