What does an LMS Administrator do? As an LMS Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall LMS user experience. This includes generating reports, maintaining the compliance dashboard, and connecting with users who have LMS issues. You will perform alpha and beta testing, provide feedback to media developers, ensure the roster is up-to-date, set up the course structure in Moodle, and provide analysis, insights, and recommendations based on generated reports. You will also coordinate with required departments to increase compliance, monitor LMS enrollments, create and assign LMS courses, and upload course content. Additionally, you will configure, maintain, and continuously improve LMS tools, dashboards, and plugins, interact with developers, stakeholders, and learners to analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to LMS-related issues, and generate compliance reports regularly.

Do you have what it takes to become an LMS Administrator?

We require candidates to have a degree focused on L&D systems, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have experience generating reports using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, at least 1-2 years of customer service or technical support experience, and experience managing a Learning Management System (preferably Moodle) is a significant advantage. You must demonstrate the ability to handle a diverse number of technical tasks and LMS functionality issues, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and maintain a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency with G-Suite Applications or Microsoft Office Apps is required, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS is a plus, as is familiarity with learning theories and methodologies.
