Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Wisconsin is seeking an LMS Administrator to partner with LMS vendors, design and set-up day-to-day operations, and continuously update courseware, curricula, and rules within the LMS. You will stay current on industry updates and integrate AI, mobile devices, and other technologies to improve our learning platform.

You will troubleshoot questions for internal and external users, build and run custom LMS reports, manage the user pool and access, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Experience with LMS platforms and vendor management.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple class registrations and logistics.
• Familiarity with reporting and data analysis in LMS.

Responsibilities

• Partners with LMS vendors on day-to-day operations, including system design, set-up, and ongoing process/system updates.
• Maintains and manages Interstate's LMS platform, including daily/weekly updates, evaluation, and testing.
• Uploads and updates courseware, curricula, training assignments, and rules within the LMS.
• Stays up-to-date on industry and LMS updates and capabilities, including AI and mobile integrations.
• Troubleshoots LMS questions and issues for internal and external customers, delivering efficient solutions.
• Builds and utilizes LMS reporting capabilities, including custom reports to support development initiatives.
• Manages the user pool, including profiles and access privileges.
• Coordinates class registrations and completions, maintaining an accurate view of scheduled sessions.
• Integrates third-party vendor materials into the LMS.
• Supports learners with exceptional customer service and FAQ maintenance.
• Vendor relationship: Maintain proactive win-win relationships with LMS provider and other vendors.
• Initiate regular conference calls to ensure clear communication.
• Create and improve LMS processes.
• Document and maintain processes for team continuity.
• Manage logistics for live classes (room reservations, setup, food, sign-in sheets).
• Oversee administrative tasks for the Learning and Development team, assisting partners and managers.
