Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation, Lemont Refinery, Lemont, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Electrical to service and repair electrical equipment in a refinery setting. The role is on-site at the Lemont Refinery and requires ability to operate in outdoor, hazardous environments and perform overtime as needed.

Paid hourly, with benefits, and opportunities to work various shifts. The successful candidate will have strong electrical fundamentals, basic shop skills, and TWIC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Basic Maintenance Skills.
• Must understand electrical fundamentals.
• Must understand electrical test equipment including digital multimeter and ammeters.
• Must understand basic shop equipment.
• Must be able to work in a refinery environment.
• Must be able to work outdoors, climb, and wear SCBA.
• Must be able to work weekend, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Install, and troubleshoot/repair electrical equipment for routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance and frequent inspections on electrical equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for inspection, testing, and repair.
• Participation in LOTO activities.
• Willingness to work various shifts and overtime, as needed.

Job Summary

Maintenance Technician - Electrical. This position is on-site at the CITGO Lemont Refinery, Lemont Illinois. Candidate will work in a refinery environment maintaining all types of electrical equipment which includes motors, heat trace, substations, lighting, conduit, wiring, and other specialty types of electrical equipment.

Pay Range: $44.23 - $51.67/hour.
