Job summary

Los Alamos National Security LLC is seeking an Engineering Technologist for the LLRF team at LANL. The role involves design, testing, and installation of RF control systems, PCBs and digital controls, with collaboration across RF, software, and instrumentation groups.

Two levels are available: Technologist 3 with 8 years plus and Technologist 4 with 12 years plus. Onsite work in Los Alamos, NM is required and a willingness to work across labs is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Science, Math or related field.
• 8 years of related experience for Engineering Technologist 3.
• 12 years of related experience for Engineering Technologist 4.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and extend engineering and supervisory aspects of projects.
• Develop specifications, procure, test and install equipment.
• Develop and test digital control systems and PCBs.
• Collaborate with technologists, technicians and engineers across groups.
