BBBS Big Sky Country is seeking a Livingston Program Manager for site-based programming in Livingston, MT. This part-time role (5–15 hours/week) begins December 2026 or January 2027, with occasional higher hours requiring CEO approval.
Responsibilities include enrollment, early match processes, and ongoing match support to ensure youth safety and positive mentor relationships. The role may support other BBBS program functions and fundraising events as needed.
The Livingston Program Manager is a part-time position (5-15 hours per week) and is primarily responsible for managing site-based (SB) programming in Livingston, MT. This position is expected to require approximately 5-15 hours per week. Any work beyond 15 hours per week requires prior approval from the CEO.
Program management will include enrollment, early match process and match facilitation and support to ensure child safety, positive impacts for youth, and constructive and satisfying relationships between youth and volunteers. This role requires a high-level of customer service and organization, focusing on youth safety and youth and volunteer needs throughout the program (including enrollment and matching). This role is also key in creating a strong sense of affiliation with BBBS on the part of program participants and school leadership and staff . While the primary focus of this role is site-based programming, the incumbent may be called upon to support other program functions, including community-based programming and match support, as agency needs require. Furthermore, this role may entail limited assistance with various fundraising events and functions.
This position will begin in December 2026 or January 2027.
The person in this position must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational and time management skills. Ability to confidently apply strong interpersonal and social-emotional skills with adults and youth in a range of cultural environments. Possess a strong ability to work independently. General awareness of resources available in the community. Knowledge of best practices in Child Safety, Trauma-Informed Care, and Equity and Inclusion (BBBS will provide further training in these areas).
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (social services, education, human resources, or related field preferred) or at least one year experience with social service organizations.
