Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Livestream Production Manager to lead pro streaming for top sellers and live events. You’ll own OBS workflows, gear, and on-site productions, partnering with the Events and Seller teams to elevate every show.

You’ll build scalable production processes, train teams, and travel 1–3 trips per month to conventions and hubs across the US. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in live production and a calm, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Expert-level live streaming skills with OBS and full-chain production (cameras, capture, audio, encoding, networking).
• Strong live production chops and a love for the craft.
• Calm under pressure; handles high-stakes shows and preps with redundancy.

Responsibilities

• Run and grow the white-glove studio build-out program for top sellers and manage gear logistics.
• Design and execute live production for conventions and major streams (e.g., MrBeast, StreamerU).
• Scale production education across Seller Academy, Help Center, YouTube, and in-app.
• Be the in-house subject matter expert for seller production tools and field evangelist.
• Define success metrics and track impact on seller performance and deal velocity.
• Build a bench of freelance/contract production talent for spikes in demand.
