Job summary

Lakeshore Talent is seeking an Assembler/Electrical Specialist to support Merritt Trailers in Livestock trailer production. This is a hands-on role involving electrical work, manual assembly, and building trailers from raw materials.

Candidates should have electrical assembly experience, be able to read prints, and work safely in a fast-paced production setting. Onsite daytime schedule, with potential for permanent conversion after contract.

Qualifications

• Manual production/manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Electrical assembly and maintenance experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic prints.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Willingness to learn multiple parts of a custom production process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailer components per specs.
• Build trailers from raw materials using prints and specs.
• Complete electrical work, including wiring harnesses.
• Use drills, air guns, and pneumatic or hand tools.
• Read a tape measure accurately and follow detailed measurements.
• Review prints to understand trailer configurations and assembly requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Communicate closely with team members on large trailers.
