Job summary

Lakeshore Talent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler in Henderson, CO for a contract-to-hire role. You will build components and trailers from raw materials, interpret blueprints, and operate a range of hand and power tools while meeting safety and quality standards. The position offers a 5:00 a.m.

– 1:30 p.m. schedule, 120-day contract with potential for permanent conversion, and a pay rate of $22–$24 per hour based on skill.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred/required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency using calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
  • Ability to operate drills, rivet guns, huck guns, grinders, saws, and other hand tools.
  • Understanding of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
  • Ability to perform basic shop math, including fractions and decimals.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work and safety.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protective equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build assemblies by interpreting work orders, production orders, and blueprints.
  • Cut raw materials to specification using tape measures and portable power saws.
  • Position parts according to blueprints or unit knowledge.
  • Fasten parts using bolts, screws, hucks, rivets, and other fasteners.
  • Drill or ream rivet holes, align parts, and install rivets.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and components (up to 51 lbs.).
  • Inspect completed work against quality standards and complete quality documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly care for tools and equipment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Position Overview

The Assembler is responsible for building components such as end sheets and side sheets and assembling Livestock, Commodity, and Gooseneck trailers from raw materials. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate hand and power tools while meeting production and quality standards.

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Location: Onsite – Henderson, CO
Pay Rate:$22–$24/hour (pay based on skill set evaluation)
Schedule:5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. M-F
Contract Length:120 days with potential for permanent conversion

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Required basic tool kit includes, but is not limited to: tape measure, Allen wrenches, assorted pliers, adjustable wrench, ratchet and socket set, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Participation in random drug testing after employment
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 51 pounds
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures
