Job summary

BJC HealthCare, at the Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Transplant Center in Missouri, seeks a Registered Nurse with transplant coordination responsibilities. The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, requiring collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• BSN preferred/required.
• Cert Clinical Transplant Coord is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the care of solid organ transplant patients and live donors.
• Collects and evaluates existing data to determine transplant recipient and donor suitability.
• Monitors and reports postoperative organ function and complications.
• Provides discharge instructions and coordinates post-transplant follow-up care.
• Plans and conducts educational activities regarding organ donation and transplantation.
