Based at University Hospital in Columbia, MO, you will coordinate care across physicians, organ procurement organizations, and the transplant team, with on-call responsibilities and ongoing patient education.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent education and experience.
• Two years RN experience in transplant or specialized area.
• Missouri RN license or multi-state license; must transfer residency if it changes within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transplant patient care across physicians, organ procurement organizations, and transplant team.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Lead weekly team meetings and maintain communication with dialysis units and referring physicians.
• On-call availability for organ offers, patient consultations, and surgery scheduling.
• Maintain UNOS documentation and transplant waiting list status.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Missouri RN license or multi-state licensure (Nurse Licensure Compact)
