Job summary

Deep Genomics is seeking a Research Scientist in Cambridge, MA to design and execute cell-based liver disease studies evaluating ADAR-mediated RNA editing and siRNA therapeutics. You will develop 2D/3D disease models, measure editing and biological outcomes, and collaborate with teams in Cambridge and Toronto. This is an hands-on IC role with travel between sites as needed.

Required Ph.D. in relevant field or Masters with strong biotech/pharma experience; expertise in liver disease models,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, gene therapy, immunology, or a related field; 0-3+ years postdoc or 6+ years with Masters/B.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and run functional assays in liver disease models.
• Evaluate RNA editing and siRNA candidates and characterize dose response, durability, and biomarkers.
• Develop end points and high-content imaging workflows for phenotyping and quantitative analysis.
• Interpret results with computational colleagues and collaborate across Cambridge and Toronto.
