Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Milford, MA is seeking a Recovery Coach for 1st shift on a part-time basis (16 hours). The role focuses on helping clients access community resources, offering recovery psychoeducation, and coordinating post-intervention services with families, as part of a supportive care pathway.

Candidates should have lived recovery experience, at least 6 months of related work, and either a college degree or a high school diploma/GED, with CARC certification or a plan to obtain

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required.
• Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a team of staff required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed.
• Certification as a Recovery Coach required or commit to obtaining CARC within 1.5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide persons served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services.
• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation, including information about recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management.
• Assist in arranging the services to which the individual is being referred after the MCI intervention, and work with the person and family to support them during the transition to those follow-up services.
