Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Massachusetts is seeking a Recovery Coach for the 1st shift on weekends. This role supports individuals in recovery, helping them access community resources and guiding them through their recovery journey.

As a part-time position (16 hours), you will collaborate with peers, provide psychoeducation on recovery and crisis self-management, and assist with transitions to follow-up services while upholding a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in recovery or lived experience with addiction or co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Ability to connect individuals with community resources and support transitions.
• Comfort providing psychoeducation and crisis self-management information.

Responsibilities

• Provide persons served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with community-based resources and services.
• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation on recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management.
• Assist in arranging services after MCI intervention and support transitions to follow-up services.
