Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Recovery Coach for the 1st shift. In this part-time role (16 hours), you will support individuals in recovery, linking them to community resources and providing guidance through their recovery journey.

The position emphasizes psychoeducation, collaboration with families, and creating a path to post-MCI services, while offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of recovery in the context of substance use and/or mental health.
• At least 6 months of related work experience.
• Must have either a college degree or a high school diploma/GED.
• Certification as a Recovery Coach required or commit to obtaining CARC within 1.5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide persons served with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services.
• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation, including information about recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management.
• Assist in arranging services to which the individual is being referred after the MCI intervention, and support during transition to follow-up services.
