Job summary

ADESA is seeking a part-time, car-enthusiast lane driver to assist with moving vehicles during the auction on a Tuesday shift from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The role involves guiding cars through the block, staging and parking them in designated lots, and reporting any safety or vehicle issues to the supervisor.

Training will be provided to ensure policy compliance. The position is outdoors and requires attention to safety, weather readiness, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines.
• Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.
• Advise supervisor or lane captain of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately.
• Drivers will be trained and must know and follow safety policies at all times.
• Operate motor vehicles safely with conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
• Report to management any issues that could affect safe operation.
• Report driving incidents including traffic citations, accidents, or mechanical problems.
