Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Engineering Manager focused on electrical systems and commercial HVAC operations to lead the Engineering Department. You will supervise maintenance, drive safety, and ensure compliance across a complex venue portfolio.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and emphasizes hands-on oversight of critical building systems. Ideal candidates bring journeyman/master electrician experience, strong HVAC expertise, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized technical training in electrical systems, commercial HVAC operation, and building maintenance.
• Journeyman/master electrician-level experience in large facilities.
• Strong experience with electrical and HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and operation of the facility, with emphasis on electrical and HVAC systems.
• Plan and coordinate work for maintenance and operations; resolve complex system issues.
• Ensure compliance with standards and codes; manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Oversee setup of utility services for events and coordination with contractors and staff.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate electricians and HVAC technicians; manage performance.
• Contribute to department budgeting for staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain SDS and regulatory permits; ensure OSHA and EPA compliance.
• Order supplies and manage inventory for electrical and HVAC needs.
• Perform related duties to ensure safety, reliability, and service excellence.
