Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a premier Phoenix venue. You will support the General Manager in operating a fast-paced, event-driven facility, overseeing both full-time and hourly staff, and ensuring profitable operations under state and federal regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor coordination, with a focus on delivering exemplary guest experiences and maintaining high standards in sanitation and service.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in business-related field; accounting minor preferred.
• 3–5 years of management experience in the food/concessions industry.
• Concessions Manager Certificate and advanced food service sanitation training are required.
• Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit as applicable by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall effective management of catering operations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with alcohol service policies and regulations.
• Manage catered events from setup to teardown; coordinate hourly and culinary staff and guests.
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, projections, and labor/product costs.
• Develop and maintain menus and marketing plans with department heads; lead vendor relationships.
