Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Production Support Specialist to ensure stability and continuous operation of live test production environments. You will resolve incidents, monitor health, manage passwords, and perform RCA to prevent repeats.

You will build tools and scripts to provide timely insights into operational health and work with owners to map data, flows and controls. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, strong SAS, UNIX/Linux, Autosys, and SQL skills, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in fields including finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or related fields.
• Understanding of SAS programming (ability to interpret SAS logs).
• Strong experience with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience supporting batch processes with an scheduler (Autosys or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Design and document tests to measure process and controls effectiveness.
• Produce testing results, reporting, and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with process and data owners across units; drive process improvements and error detection.
• Use analytical tools and testing scripts to drive improvements and insights.
• Communicate rationale, methods, and results to senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
