Responsibilities include operating sound and lighting gear, following cues, and collaborating with managers and performers to ensure seamless shows.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in theater, live events, AV, DJing, or production is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of sound and lighting equipment.
• Comfort working with computers, audio equipment, and technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate sound and lighting equipment during live performances.
• Follow cue sheets and execute cues at the right time.
• Play music, sound effects, and other audio as directed.
• Adjust microphone and audio levels as needed.
• Operate basic stage and house lighting systems.
• Assist with microphones, cables, speakers, lighting equipment, and other technical gear.
• Perform pre-show equipment checks to ensure everything is ready to go.
• Troubleshoot minor sound or lighting issues during shows.
• Help set up and break down the performance space.
• Maintain an organized sound and lighting area.
• Communicate with managers, performers, and staff during the show.
• Pitch in with other stage or venue duties as needed.
