Job summary

The Lincoln Theatre Association seeks a dependable Stagehand to support rehearsals, performances, rentals, and educational programming at the Lincoln Theatre and its spaces in Columbus, Ohio.

This on-site, hands-on position assists with load-ins, load-outs, stage setup, and changeovers while maintaining safety and collaborating with audio, lighting, and stage-management teams. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of documented stagehand, theatre, live-event, or production experience required.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment safely using team lifts and carts.
• Ability to follow direction, communicate clearly, and collaborate with various production teams.
• Fully on-site position with calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load production equipment through approved access points using safe lifting techniques.
• Set up, adjust, and strike risers, platforms, tables, chairs, and equipment per plan.
• Provide basic support to audio, lighting, video, and scenic departments.
• Complete stage and room changeovers accurately and on time while protecting equipment and safety paths.
• Document completed work and report equipment concerns to leadership.
