New York Racing Association (NYRA Bets) seeks a Bet Squad Leader to support NYRA Bets, the online betting site, and provide betting education on-track through face-to-face customer service with fans during live racing.

On-site role at the Saratoga track; duties include assisting customers sign up, managing accounts, handling deposits, troubleshooting, reporting, and live chat/email support, with emphasis on top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school Degree or Technical Certification.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a customer service contact center or a customer service position.
• Superior organizational skills.
• A self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and energetic personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong computer proficiency including word and excel.
• Must be available to work on site during the live racing at Saratoga.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with NYRA Bets signup and account creation.
• Print NYRA Bets betting cards, reset passwords and PINs for accounts.
• Help customers with deposit methods and other NYRA Bets questions.
• Help customers download mobile app and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Generate reports as needed.
• Process a variety of financial transactions.
• Maintain digital and physical files.
• Handle customer inquiries including disputes and wagering cancellations.
• Assist customers on live chat and email.
• Report hardware and software issues to the ServiceDesk.
• Provide support to partners, customers and vendors.
• Other duties as requested.
• Teach customers how to read a program, the different types of bets and how to make bets.
