Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager for a fast-paced, on-site summer camp operation. You will lead kitchen staff, manage daily culinary activities, budgeting, and allergen safety, ensuring high-quality meals for campers in a live-in setting.

The role is a seasonal contract (May–Sept) with full-time, exempt hours and travel/room-and-board provisions. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations and serve as the key liaison to camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; ServSafe Allergens required before start date (company-sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy camp dining operation.
• Oversee daily culinary workflow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, Wolfoods corporate office.
