Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group & Ryman Hospitality Properties seeks a Bartender for its legendary music venues. You will mix cocktails, pour drinks, and deliver exceptional guest service while keeping energy high and the venue running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are fast, friendly, and focused, with previous bartending experience in a high-volume setting, knowledge of menus, and the ability to upsell beverages and handle POS transactions responsibly.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• Able to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and engage in friendly conversations to cultivate regular customers.
• Follow recipes and established techniques to prepare and serve drinks.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; restock as needed.
• Operate POS terminals, handle payments, and reconcile cash at shift end.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and perform opening/closing duties.
• Maintain clean and orderly dining and bar areas; follow sanitation procedures.
• Perform inventory, product rotation, and date labeling.
