Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and can transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, and leading devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
