Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students in a student home. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, manage schedules, and support wellness and safety.

After starting, couples work a 9-day on, 3-day off schedule and may advance to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include housing, meals during duty, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
• Two-person role for couples.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
