Job summary

Milton Hershey School located in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person couple) to provide care, guidance, and supervision for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role includes scheduling, devotions, and coordinating activities that support academic, emotional, and social growth.

The position starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential progression to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
