Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, and supervision for about 8–13 students.

The role includes daily routines, transport to activities, devotions, budgeting, and reporting. Both spouses must be 27+, married at least two years, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two-person role requiring married couples for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in a school setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive student vans as certified.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Supporting multiple homes initially with nine-on, three-off schedule; transition to placed home.
