Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students, ensuring a safe, structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation, devotions, and budgeting. The role begins with nine days on duty, followed by three off, with progression to a placed home role.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have valid U.S. driver’s licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development/recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
