Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes and mentor 8-13 students, supporting academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like setting.

The role transitions from nine days on/three off, with a future placement in a single student home. Responsibilities include supervision, routine management, medication administration, transportation, devotions, chapel, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan/participate in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and complete household reporting.
