Residing Hope in Florida seeks a live-in youth care worker to support independent living for young adults in a cottage setting. The role involves supervising daily activities, mentoring residents, coordinating transportation and meals, and collaborating with case managers to ensure safety and growth.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1-3 years experience with at-risk youth, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years’ experience with at-risk young adults preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to work with treatment team and Case Managers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out agency policies in the cottage and campus as directed by supervisor.
• Create an atmosphere conducive to growth and independence for residents.
• Mentor and support youths in their pursuits to gain independence.
• Lead monthly community meetings and coordinate chores, rules, and schooling.
• Advise and follow up on youths’ wellbeing related to relationships, substance use, rehab and safety.
• Coordinate educational resources and transport for youths to appointments and activities.
