Job summary

Youth Homes is seeking part-time Youth Counselors to help provide a safe, structured living environment and support youth in healing and growth. Counselors work closely with staff to create a home-like milieu and empower youth through positive relationships and activities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting youth engagement in healthy recreation while adhering to licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing minimum age of 21 at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting.
• Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively with staff.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed and climb stairs as required.

Youth Homes is currently hiring part-time Youth Counselors to join our mission of providing the highest quality care to youth in urgent need of a safe, structured place to heal and call home. Youth Homes Youth Counselors work closely with staff teams to co-create and maintain a healthy and home-like milieu within the homes and work closely with youth to help build a foundation for youth empowerment and promote a sense of positive identity, purpose, and value.
