Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities.

You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety, ensuring high-quality scratch cooking for campers. This is an on-site, live-in position with a demanding 6-day, 70-hour workweek; competitive seasonal pay with bonus, full room and board, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and live on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and timely service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; manage health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
