Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a high-volume summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, supervise staff, and ensure strict allergen safety standards across menus.

This live-in, seasonal position requires strong leadership, scratch-cooking expertise, and comfort with high-volume operation. You will live on-site across rustic camp facilities and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week with

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day part.
• Lead and train kitchen staff; maintain allergen safety protocols.
• Ensure operational flow, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
