Job summary

University of California, Irvine seeks a Residential Living Coordinator within Student Housing. You will support after-hour emergency response, community development, and supervision of student staff. You will collaborate with campus partners to provide programs, counseling and referrals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and California driver’s license, with evenings, nights, and some weekends expected. Live-in housing and an on-site work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Experience advising and counseling in student housing or related field.
• Strong budget and staff supervision capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Residence Life program and community.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate student staff.
• Manage programming, budget, and crisis response.
• Coordinate with campus partners (UCIPD, Counseling Center, Health Services).
• Respond to emergencies and join after-hour duties.
