Job summary

Key duties include emergency on-call, various repairs, and ensuring safe operations across multiple units. High school education required, S-12/S-13 certs or equivalent, and the ability to obtain relevant certifications

Qualifications

• S-12 and S-13 certifications or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• 2-year degree or certificate in maintenance or similar field.
• Sustainability training or certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• On call 24 hours for emergencies.
• Maintain roof: sealing, cementing, taring, cleaning, painting.
• Masonry upkeep: sealing, repair, cementing, scrubbing.
• Window/Frame replacement, sealing, painting, cleaning.
• Sheetrock/plaster repair, taping, sanding, painting.
• Plumbing maintenance: unclog drains, pumps, and fixtures.
• Electrical: install/repair lighting and basic wiring.
• Boiler/heating: bleed, valve install, program controls.
• Painting: touch-ups for hallways and vacant units.
• Daily upkeep: snow removal, cleaning, tenant turnover.
