Job summary

RPM Development Group in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to serve as a live-in superintendent for a residential building. Responsibilities include site maintenance, groundskeeping, and handling work orders.

The role requires hands-on repair experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting, strong cleanliness standards, and reliable, independent work. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with minor repairs including electricity, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Highly skilled in maintaining overall cleanliness of the property.
• Able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
• Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site in good working order and keep exterior grounds, common areas and parking structures clean and safe.
• Address Work Orders.
• Responsible for turnover of vacant units.
• On-call for emergencies.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, products and supplies.
