Job summary

University Housing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, seeks a Coordinator for Living, Learning, and Outreach to advance LLCs and residence hall tour operations while supporting marketing and outreach initiatives. The role includes partnerships with campus stakeholders, student leadership supervision, and involvement in recruitment events.

The position oversees LLC programs, partners with Student Life Communications on digital content, and contributes to a dynamic living-learning

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various student populations and campus partners.
• Excellent communication skills including strong writing demonstrated in materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Living Learning Communities (LLCs) and residence hall tour programs, liaise with academic partners, oversee logistics for events and outreach.
• Coordinate and support communication and marketing strategies for LLC engagement, develop website content and social media in partnership with Student Life Communications.
• Recruit, train, and supervise student leaders (LLC Ambassadors and guides); facilitate leadership development and student-led initiatives.
• Provide leadership in delivering excellent customer service to students, families, and campus partners; support budgets and administrative processes; participate in on-call rotations including some overnights/weekends.
