Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at our rural summer camps. This on-site, live-in, full-time seasonal role covers hands-on kitchen leadership, staff supervision, budgeting, and allergen safety across high-volume service.

You will manage scratch-cooked meals, enforce health standards, and collaborate with camp leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences for campers and staff during the May–Sept season.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start).
• Strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs and timely service.
• Manage allergen protocols and top sanitation standards.
• Control inventories, place orders, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
