Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, activities, devotions, and budgeting. This role begins on a nine-on/three-off cycle with potential transition to a placed home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role for married partners (minimum two years).
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel services.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
