Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks dedicated couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. You will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, and supervision to a group of 8–13 students, and foster a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role includes exploring daily activities, devotions, chapel, budgeting, and reporting. A two-person married couple with maturity for long-term commitment is required, with full time

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
