Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervise groups of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The position begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition to a placed home in time. Responsibilities include daily supervision, coordinating routines, activities, and devotions, as well as budgeting and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27+ and willing to live on campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and weekend Chapel activities.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Transition to a Placed Houseparent after initial phase.
