Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, creating a family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, duties cover multiple homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, eventually transitioning to a placed home, with housing and meals provided, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-person couple married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
