Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8-13 students, fostering an environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

The position begins with a nine-on/three-off cycle and advances to a placed Houseparent living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
