Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents for couples who will live in on-campus student homes and care for a group of 8–13 students. This role blends supervision, mentorship, and family-like leadership to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Two spouses must be married at least two years and both residents must be 27 or older. The position includes housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits, with a structured nine-on/three-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
