Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8-13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role follows a nine-on, three-off schedule, with a transition to Placed Houseparent where you continue in the same home. Candidates must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27 or older.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
