Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents, a married couple living on campus to care for a group of 8–13 students in a home. You will supervise daily routines, lead devotions, and coordinate activities while supporting student wellbeing.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both 27+, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation and paid training are provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting; follow a nine days on / three days off schedule, then placed in a single home.
