Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple to live on-campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, and coordinate activities to foster academic and personal growth.

The role requires a two-spouse team, both aged 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation/training and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role.
