Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples for Full‑time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on‑campus student homes, provide care and mentorship to about 8‑13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development. A nine days on / three days off schedule begins at hire.

As a couple, you will share duties, manage routines, supervise activities, and participate in devotions and Chapel services while enjoying comprehensive benefits and housing on campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Fish and one dog allowed; pet restrictions.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to certify to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance; no proselytizing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
